How to share large files Uploads and Downloads

Many times we have a requirement to share large files but we cannot send them as attachment in email because of file size limit. Today I came across site www.rapidshare.com. This site allows you to upload and download unlimited files and share it with your friends and family. The service is available as free and paid. I had come here to download a file. I used the free service to download. Using free service i had to wait for few minutes before download permission was granted. Using paid service you can get instant download. I havn't checked the upload feature.
