A Call Center company employs only young graduates at the entry level but is that actually true???????????

All companies generally hire youths at the entry level positions but it is shocking to know that big call centre companies in India like IBM Daksh, Convergys, Vertex and Genpact have started hiring people above 40+ years. Employees in the 40+ age group include housewives, self-employed or freelance professionals and ex-defense serviceman (retiring out of short-service commission). What has attributed companies to follow this trend is the need for stability in BPO. Youths have generally high desires and they tend to be less stable, they migrate from one company to another very soon as the trend is seen these days. Contrast to this people at 40+ have settled so they are more stable. It has opened a chance for housewife’s to contribute financially to the growth of their family. It a good news for 40+ people if they have a desire to work in such companies.
