Zune Vs iPod

Microsoft releases its music player "Zune" which is similar to Apple’s iPod. Till now Apple’s iPod, it’s iTunes software and its online music store dominates the digital music market. Zune launch is a Microsoft’s attempt to loosen the iPod grip over digital music market and overtake it, will it be able to do that?
Microsoft’s Zune comes with music library software and online store similar to the Apple’s iPod. Zune device does not work with other online stores and its online store even does not offer songs for non Zune devices. Zune works on wireless technology and comes with 30 GB Harddisk. The pricing is same as that of iPod. Zune has a bigger screen of 3" as compared to iPod’s 2.5". When it comes to downloads iPod performs much better.

This might be slightly unreleated but here's an interesting article comparing the zune and iPod audio quality using frequency analysis. Pretty objective and technical.
